The heat transfer factor = 0.90, and the melting factor = 0.75. The second is gas metal arc welding performed at a welding voltage = 25 volts, current = 200 amps, and heat transfer factor = 0.90, and the melting factor = 0.627. The melting temperature of low-carbon steel = 1487?C, and the unit melting energy can be determined by the methods you learnt in class. Hence, determine the travel speed required for both cases of the weld bead = 32.25 mm2. Assume the weld bead is all from the filler metal.
